Advices for energy efficiency
Lower energy costs and preserve the environment
The less energy is used, the better for environment and climate. Our energy saving advice shows you hints & tricks for the everyday life to reduce current, water and gasoline consumption, to preserve the environment and save money.
Advices for energy efficiency

- A substantial part of the current consumption can be saved by the use of more economical power consumers. E.g. an older fridge or a freezer can have can have 2-10 times the current consumption of new equipment of the class A.
- The use of machines without constant interruptions saves substantial quantities of electricity. An electric motor often needs a multiple of current for the start in relation to normal operation. This is also similar with energy-savings lamps.
- During controlled living room ventilation the air is heated substantially more efficient. The energy basically is in the cubic capacity and not in air.
Advices for energy conservation
- Through lowering the ambient temperature by only one or two degrees substantial energy savings are achieved.
- Completely switching off Standby devices saves unnecessary energy consumption.
- Due to the use of a solar heat or Photovoltaic plant, approx. 700 kg CO2 is saved with each MWh of energy.
- Due to a comprehensive decentralized energy supply, the considerable transmission and transportation losses are nearly completely avoided. The energy is produced where it is needed/used. The pre stored medium voltage and high-voltage transmission systems only serve the compensation of production/need discrepancies which are naturally always arising. For this however no very high power values are transferred anymore. Electricity grids change their character: They change gradually from the distribution network to the balance net. It takes over the same task as a battery.
- Energy can be stored almost free of loss by the use of innovative heat accumulator systems during a longer period.
